Comet netters currently 3-0
By Mary Hefta Things seem to be coming together for the Comet volleyball team. The girls have become familiar with each other and have meshed both offensively and defensively. The Comets recently traveled to Glenburn last Thursday to play the Panthers. The Panthers have been a consistent team for many years and although the Comets weren’t quite sure what to expect, (the teams haven’t met for over ten years) the girls played hard and won the match 3-0. The girls did dig themselves into a hole a few times but as their coach I am constantly amazed at how it doesn’t seem to faze them. The girls keep their cool and are able to get right back into a set.
