Comet boys falter to Surrey
By Michael Johnson, Editor
The Underwood Comet boys traveled to Sawyer on Thursday and made the trip well worth the time. The Comets took the win with some outstanding numbers coming from some of the players. "I thought we had a pretty good game," head coach Kyle Hunt said. Hunt said the game was well balanced between the teams. However, Matt Landenberger brought a slant to the score by stacking up 32 points. He was on fire against the Sawyer defense. Some of that fire came out during their next game against Surrey. The Underwood Comet boys were at home Monday evening for some new competition against the Surrey Mustangs. The Surrey boys turned out to be more competition than the Comets could weather as they defeated the Comets by a score of 67-56.
