A closer look at your Cougar champions
Though the season may be over, the excitement of Central McLean’s first Class B State track and field title is fresh within the community’s collective mind.
While the Cougars girls claimed the overall state title in impressive fashion, five individual Cougars claimed their own personal championship wins across two events.
In the Javelin TL-M senior Daisy Sparrow claimed the championship title, while in the girls 4x400 relay Anna Skachenko, Leah Jacobson, Natalie Whitcomb and Morgan Snyder made up the Central McLean group that took home the title.
