Underwood waives zoning ordinance in portion of hardware demolition
Portions of foundation will not be demolished in Underwood as part of the hardware store demolition as it was built under city sidewalks.
The city of Underwood commission met Jan. 21 at the city hall where Diane Schell of the Underwood Area Economic Development Corporation discussed the demolition at 120 Lincoln Ave.
That location used to house the old hardware store, which was tore down in December as part of steps the city is taking to revitalize the area.
