Underwood School Board looks for new member
By Michael Johnson, Editor
The Underwood School Board just reinstated Kristie Seidler to the school board after her term was up this June. Now there is room for another member as Chad Olson has resigned from his position on the school board, representing the city of Underwood. Superintendent Dale Ekstrom said Olson resigned due to health related concerns. The school board now has 60 days to either appoint someone to fill the rest of his term or they will have an election to elect someone to the board. If they still don’t find someone to fill the position the county superintendent will have to step in and find a replacement for the position. The term will be up next June and whoever is chosen can then seek re-election or not.
