Underwood and Turtle Lake-Mercer students explore careers at Minot Expo
Last Thursday marked an enriching experience for Underwood and Turtle Lake-Mercer’s ninth and tenth graders, who visited Minot for an Area Career Expo.
This educational trip provided a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and insights into various local career paths.
At the expo, students immersed themselves in interactive demonstrations spanning a wide array of professions.
They had the chance to delve into the world of welding, where they learned about the precision and skill required in this demanding trade.
The students also explored firefighting, gaining a deeper understanding of the bravery and rigorous training needed in this critical public safety role.
