Turtle Lake Clinic combining clinic, ER services

The staff at the new Turtle Lake Clinic put into action one of its main goals on its opening day Monday, serving both clinic patients and ER patients seamlessly.
With little fanfare, the new Turtle Lake Clinic located at CHI St. Alexius Turtle Lake Hospital opened Monday morning, seeing the one patient that was on the schedule, a
few others who were able to make same-day appointments, and even an emergency room patient.
The opening day went off pretty well, according to Sue Wardner, FNP, who was the provider seeing the patients Monday. “It was good, fun, and it was really exciting to have that first
patient,” she said. “And it was efficient because we had an emergency room visit, and we continued working. It was just very efficient.”
