Turtle Lake Ambulance begins construction of new facility

Construction has begun on Turtle Lake’s new ambulance hall, commemorated by board members during a groundbreaking ceremony on May 4th.
The new facility, located at 259 Burke Street in the southeast part of Turtle Lake, will be nearly 5,000 square feet, with a large garage bay, meeting and training area for region-wide training courses, and room for growth.
The project is expected to cost $700,000 when complete. Loans and existing mill levies are supplying initial capital.
