Track #200 for racing fan

The McLean County Speedway in Underwood is not known as the "World’s Greatest Dirt Track."

That honor goes to the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

But as far as dirt tracks go, the Speedway in Underwood isn’t too bad – not too bad at all.

That is according to Dustin Jarrett, a dirt track journalist who writes for dirtondirt.com and was visiting the McLean County Speedway Thursday night – marking his 200th different Speedway stop.

Jarrett and his girlfriend, Kimberly, are on a summer vacation, making their way through the upper Midwest, and they decided to stop in and check out the McLean County Speedway Thursday night.

They were able to squeeze a stop in at the Speedway in part because the races are held on a Thursday, unlike a lot of the other race tracks in the area.
