TL-M presenting COVID-style Christmas

In lieu of elementary and high school Christmas concerts this year, The Turtle Lake-Mercer music students are going to give folks a taste of Christmas along with a taste of what their music classes are like in this year of COVID-19.
Due to COVID - 19 restrictions, TL-M Music Instruct or Marquita Marquez-Grewatz knew the students wouldn’t be able to put on their normal Christmas concerts this month. Instead, she’ll be virtually taking visitors into the different classrooms the week of Dec. 14-18 to show them how classes have been conducted, playing some Christmas music selections.
“We’ll be recreating some of the things that we’ve been working on for Christmas in every classroom,” said Marquez-Grewatz. “I’ve been going into every classroom for classes this year, and we’re going to do a video of them so everybody can see what each class has been doing.”
