Three in a row at Go Loco

The staff of the Underwood Clinic took top honors once again at this year’s Go Loco For Local promotion in Underwood, claiming not only the Best Chili Award, but the Best Experience Award, this year bringing The Addams Family to the event.
In counting the votes, the battle for the best experience was "neck and neck" between the Underwood Clinic’s Addams Family and Cottingham Insurance’s Bloody Mary, noted Diane Schell, who tallied the ballots for all of the voting.
Schell, who stopped at all of the businesses to test their chili and "experience," also went through the haunted house, saying that this year’s event was terrific.
"Everybody enjoyed it," she said. "I think we had some new businesses that made chili, and really good chili – and it seemed like they were excited to be participating, and that made it fun, too."
