The power of words still entertains
By Michael Johnson, Editor
They didn’t need a TV. They didn’t need a computer. They didn’t even need swords. All the fourth, fifth and sixth-grade students of Underwood needed was a book to have fun this summer. Those that chose to join in on the summer reading program at the Underwood Library had the chance to read "How to Train Your Dragon" over the summer and those that finished had a party to cele-brate on Thursday. The book is about a boy named Hiccup who goes from being picked on by many, to becoming a hero through a series of adventures with his dragon, Toothless. In the book, readers learn about what it takes to train a dragon and many of them imagined what it would be like if they could have their own dragon.
