That’s Christmas with an ‘I’

A lot of families do family gift exchanges – typically when families get so large, there are too many people for everybody to buy gifts for – so they downsize a bit.
Some families do white elephant gifts where the presents tend to be a little more unusual.
A lot of exchanges are pretty straight-forward -- girls buy a girl gift, boys buy a boy gift, and they draw numbers to see who gets to pick a gift first. Often, there’s the opportunity for people to steal a gift from someone else.
Turtle Lake’s Linda Huelsman and her family have taken the family gift exchange to a different level for the past 10 years, adding a unique twist to their gift giving and receiving.
They’re going through the alphabet. This year, all of the gifts for the gift exchange need to start with the letter I.
“I is a hard one,” said Linda.
