Teen dies in crash north of Turtle Lake
One person has died following a head-on crash that occurred north of Turtle Lake earlier this week.
According to a press release issued by North Dakota Highway Patrol Lt. Jenna Clawson Huibregtse on April 15, a 19-year-old female died after the vehicle she was driving collied with a second vehicle.
The crash occurred at about 10 p.m. April, 14, on N.D. Highway 41 near mile maker 43 north of Turtle Lake. The 19-year-old was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus southbound on the highway when the vehicle crossed over into the northbound lane.
“The Taurus struck a Chevrolet Tahoe head-on in the northbound lane,” the press release stated. “The driver of the Taurus died of injuries.”
