Taste of Turtle Lake
Local businesses participated in the 10th annual Taste of Turtle Lake at the American Legion on Monday afternoon. Businesses were tasked with creating samples of food, which were then sampled by the plate by attendees. About 110 were in attendance at the event, said Linda Huelsman, project chair with the Turtle Lake Chamber of Progress. She added that about $700 was raised from the event, with funds going to help sponsor future events, including the annual Turtle Days in July.
