Synchronized business development

Bridging a gap between existing businesses and the folks that can help them is something that Underwood economic developer Tyler Demars is currently striving toward.
One tool that he says will help in that process is the Synchronist CRTS, an on-site interview that records detailed information about the business including services provided, health of the business, how business is promoted, expansion or renovation plans and other forward looking questions.
“It’s a tool through the North Dakota SBDC (Small Business Development Center) to engage with clients,” Demars said.
The information from the questionnaire comes in very handy for civic groups and the city commission. They are able to view the database and see the unanimous entries to see what that business needs to better serve the customers.
