A total of 450 snakes were used to make the movie "Snakes on a Plane" with Samuel L. Jackson.

Underwood’s Andy Senski doesn’t have that many, but he does have quite a few – about 60, actually.

"I don’t even know how many," he said, as he brought a few outside from their normal homes in the basement. He thinks he has about 60.

"I love snakes," said the younger Andrew Senski as one wound around his fingers and along his arm. "They’re cool."

Andy and his wife, Becky, are so enamored with snakes that they started the Bismarck Herpetological Society, a group devoted to all things reptile – and in particular for them, snakes.

Many of the other members of the herpetological society are breeders, noted Andy, and they are dedicated to educating people about reptiles, "and saying ‘they’re not bad’."
