Sparrow to play All-Star game

Turtle Lake-Mercer senior Sophie Sparrow will be competing on the softball field again this summer, but sporting something other than her Central McLean Cougars jersey.
Sparrow, the starting pitcher for the Cougars, was recently named to the Scheels All Star West Softball team. The team is one of two that is comprised of Class A and B seniors, who train together before duking it out in a pair of June games.
Sparrow said making the team has been a longtime goal of hers.
