School to start $2.7 million renovation
By Michael Johnson, Editor
As school board member Mike Heger described, it took a lot of hammering out to reach a decision, but the board unanimously agreed that the school district would benefit from a $2,040,917 project during the last regular school board meeting held Thursday. The project is being handled by Energy Services Group, who has been going over the workings of the building over the past school year to find any deficiencies in the building that may be costing the school more than necessary. The group has performed over 50 successful projects in North Dakota. Part of their agreement is that they have to guarantee it will pay for itself in 15 years.
