New business manager ready to crunch numbers

There’s another new kid in town who is ready to get down to business.
The new "kid" is Underwood School’s new business manager, Darla Grabinger, who recently took over the position following the resignation of Angela Riehl.
Grabinger, who lives in Turtle Lake with her husband Cory and two children, Madlynn, 5, and William, almost 3, welcomes the chance to work in Underwood.
She even welcomes the commute.
The 15-minute drive every morning is much nicer than the hour it was taking her to get to work at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck for the past 11-1/2 years, where she was the finance director.
"It’s going to be a little different coming from health care into a school system, but it’s still accounting," said Grabinger. "It’s just accounting done a little bit differently with the funds."
