Members needed for ballot

Ever wished you had the chance to make more of a difference in your community? Now is your chance to do just that by seeking a spot on the June ballot for one of the many positions open in the City of Underwood. Positions up for election include the president of the city commission, now filled by Rick Olson. Two commission seats will also be up for election, including Earl and Steve Cottingham’s seats. Those three positions are four-year terms. Also up for election is Jay Snyder’s seat, which is a two-year unexpired term. If you are more of a park person, maybe you want to fill one of three seats on the park board. Talesa Heger and Ethan Vaagene’s four-year seats are up for election as well as an unexpired term now held by Chastity Aasheim.
