Looking back on 2015
The Midsummer Classic, the Harvest Fest and the first children’s musical presented by the Northern Expressions Arts Council highlighted a summer that was also filled with some detours, as the floodwater project got into full swing. A mid-summer storm ravaged area crops and uprooted and damaged several trees in the area, also damaging several homes.
The later months brought mild early winter temperatures, and the Underwood School Board decided to move forward with a major construction project, while the city commission mulled the prospects of a sidewalk project for 2016.
