Local teen author Charity Balyeat will be at the Underwood Public Library this Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 5 p.m. (March 10) to read from and sign copies of her book, "Eleanor: The Daring Princess."
Charity, 13, whose family lives in Underwood, says she has been writing since she was about 9-years-old, and she recently decided to self-publish her book, which she wrote when she was 12.
"It’s a medieval love story," summed up Underwood Librarian Harmony Higbie.
Briefly, the book, set in medieval times, is about a princess who is kidnapped by a prince whom she refuses to marry because she in love with someone else.
Will the daring princess be able to get away from her captor? Will she end up with her true love?
Only those who read the book will be able to find out.
