Kramer named SHAPE Teacher of the Year

The students and faculty threw a party at the school last Friday honoring one of their own.
Health and Phy. Ed. teacher Heather Kramer was honored by not just the students and staff, but community members as well as she was named ND SHAPE Health Teacher of the Year.
Kramer will now be entered into the regional competition with Society of Health and Physical Educators award winners from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming. The regional award will be presented at the regional convention Nov. 1 in Bismarck.
Turtle Lake-Mercer Supt. Sheila Schlafmann, who along with another teacher from the Turtle Lake-Mercer School wrote a recommendation letter for Kramer, says the award is well deserved.
