It’s time to ‘Go Loco’

Things will be a little crazy this Friday as "Go Loco For Local" gets underway starting at 5 p.m.
At their regular monthly meeting Wednesday, the Underwood Civic Club was making the final plans for this Friday’s event, which invites folks to stop in and check out the local businesses, then judge them.
Judge their chili, actually, and their "experience", as the businesses compete for top honors in the best chili and best experience categories.
Employees of the Underwood Clinic are the reigning champions in both categories, serving up a white chili to win the cook-off last year.
The businesses competing for the best experience will have employees in costume, the businesses decorated with a theme.
Last year’s winner, the Underwood Clinic, won the best experience, dressing and decorating with a Hocus Pocus theme.
