Hymnus Tree grows to bigger space

After only six months at its location on Second Street in Underwood, The Hymnus Tree has grown into needing a larger location.
The Hymnus Tree boutique and creative lab recently opened its doors at its new location on Lincoln Ave. in Underwood – right in the middle of the city’s downtown business district.
Now located at the former P.J.’s Lounge, the Hymnus Tree has nearly double the space and will now be able to offer a more comprehensive creative lab, according to owner/operator Alisha Schieber.
“We were kind of looking for more space to do more things for the craft students and creative lab – we just needed more space,” said Schieber. “People want to do birthday parties and other parties, and just being on Lincoln Ave. helps with foot traffic and lets people know they have options.”
The store still offers unique artisan gifts at the front of the store, but the back will now feature even more opportunities for different artistic endeavors. Adults as well as children will now be able to come to the store and try their hand at pottery throwing, using a 3D printer and die cutter.
Schieber is excited to have a bigger space for people to hold birthday parties or ladies (or mens) nights, and other group events.
