Honoring those who have served

They have served America – now it’s time to pay them back for their dedication to preserving freedom. The inaugural Centennial Park Rally 4 N.D. Vets is weekend at Sportsmen’s Centennial Park, southeast of Garrison. The rally begins Friday at noon, ending Sunday morning. The rally is sponsored by the Apehangers Motorcycle Club, Garrison. David Jeffrey, member of the Apehangers and one of the event’s organizers, said excitement is building. “Overall, the response has been totally positive,” he said. “We’ve received praise from others, thanking us for doing what we are planning for the veterans of North Dakota.” Word of the rally has spread over a tri-state area. Jeffrey thinks support will be widespread from people from all walks of life.
