Holiday Fair this Saturday

There’s no need to go anywhere outside of Turtle Lake this Saturday if you’re looking to do some shopping and/or eating, as the Hospital Auxiliary is set to present its annual Holiday Fair – a kick-off to the holiday season.
The annual fundraiser for the Turtle Lake Hospital (CHI St. Alexius Health) is set to run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, and will feature a variety of artisans, bakers and home-based business owners showing off their wares throughout the day.
In addition to being able to pick up must-have, one-of-a-kind items at the fair, shoppers will be able to pick up some bars, cookies and other goodies – some to nosh on while they shop, and some to take home as well. Lots of folks are known to stop in a couple of times throughout the day to grab something to eat, partly because there are so many options available – not just as a snack, but as a meal.
On the menu are knoephla soup, Indian tacos, chili burgers, egg salad sandwiches, fried bread, homemade pie and desserts and coffee.
There will also be an auction for several gift baskets – the more tickets you put in the bucket for the basket, the greater your odds of winning.
