Wayne J. Glover, owner of the former PJ’s building in downtown Underwood, is quietly setting up shop in the building. The business will be a dispatch office for W.J. Glover Trucking, which hauls frac sand and is also home base for his business, Vision Logistics, Inc.
The front part of the building, which housed PJ’s bar, will be used as the main office for the trucking company, while the center of the building will potentially be a break area for the company’s drivers. He is also doing a little work on the living area in the back of the building (primarily just putting on some fresh paint,) as that will be used as his primary residence.
How Glover came to own the building was pretty accidental. He had heard the bar had closed, and he says he asked property owner PJ Trondson if she would be willing to rent the building to him.
"PJ said she’d rather sell it," said Glover. So he bought it and set up shop, currently in the middle of the building, which will eventually be the "recreation" area for the drivers.
