Get ready for a Big Boom

A new business is going to be popping up at Underwood along US 83 in the next week or so.
Actually, it’s more than just popping up, it’s going to be “booming” up as Big Boom Fireworks sets up shop at Grimsley’s Convenience Store from June 27 through July 5.
Big Boom Fireworks will be featuring “Spirit of ‘76” fireworks, and it is the only local distributor of the “Spirit of ’76,” according to Big Boom’s Adam Eckel.
“We’re the only ones in the region selling that brand,” Eckel said, which means Big Boom will have different spectacular shows than other top regional fireworks sellers.
“We’ve got different fireworks, different breaks, different varieties,” Eckel said. “You’ll actually have a chance to have something different than what your neighbor has.”
