Free community carnival Oct. 31

Plans are falling into place nicely for the annual community carnival in Underwood. It should be a great night out for the whole family. The Faith Evangelical Church welcomes out families for a night of free food and wholesome entertainment. Families can expect to see some new games for the kids. Kids, get your throwing arm ready for the different games and be prepared for great prizes in completing the games. The event was established by the Underwood Faith Evangelical Church to create a safe place for kids to come for a fun night with friends. “We noticed a few years back that there was nothing for kids on Oct. 31 in our area, and so Faith Evangelical Church decided to host a free family-friendly carnival at city hall from 5 to 7 p.m. for the community,” Fatih Evangelical pastor Jeff Higbie said. “This was so well received by the community that this year will mark our fourth annual community carnival.”
