Four Turtle Lake-Mercer FFA members heading to Indiana

Four individuals will represent Turtle Lake-Mercer FFA at this year’s national Floriculture competition in Indiana.
A team of Amy Klain, Rhea Laib, Kassidy Reiser and Kadence Reiser were tested on problem solving, plant identification, disease and pest identification and more during a general knowledge exam earlier this month. Their performance earned them a spot in the Oct. 27 national competition.
“They’re in the top 50 percent in the nation,” Advisor Paul Buchholz said.
