Fire damages Underwood home

Firefighters were still on site at 200 Roosevelt Ave. in Underwood Thursday afternoon following responding to a fire call the night before. The area was cordoned off with a McLean County Sheriff’s Deputy still on site as well.
According to Lt. Justin Krohmer of the McLean County Sheriff ’s Department, on November 18 at approximately 10:48 p.m. a 911 call was received advising of a house fire at 200 Roosevelt Ave.
The Underwood Fire Department, the Underwood Ambulance Service and the McLean County Sheriff’s Office responded. The interior fire was extinguished and all occupants of the residence were checked by the local ambulance service.
