Entrepreneurs tackling business challenges

The Vonderheide Gymnasium in Underwood smelled a lot like a bakery last Monday as students from Underwood, Washburn and White Shield presented their business plans and samples of their wares (and menu items) at the annual Entrepreneur Expo.
There were: 3 Guys Burgers and Fries, Cupcake Corner, Bakery Girls, Central Smoothies, and We Scream For Ice Cream, and those were just some of the food vendors. There was also a security service, a school of fine art, a digital studio, a new take on a backpack, and a lure shop.
While most of the food vendors may have been focused on the sweet tooth, Galaxy Game and Grub definitely went the other direction with its flavors, as customers were almost dared to try their pizza with the Ghost Pepper Sauce or the My Little Pony Sauce. Both were guaranteed to send customers in search of a hose to put out the fire.
The brainchild of David Senski, Hakeem Abdullah, Bodie Olson and Braydon Olson, Galaxy Game and Grub, sells pizza with "many levels of intensity and heat," said Senski. Some are so intense, a waiver, complete with the possible dangers of eating the too-hot-to-handle pizza, has to be signed before the young men will even serve up a slice of their spicy pie.
When asked why anyone would buy a pizza, or even a piece of pizza, for full price, knowing they most likely won’t eat much of it, the young entrepreneurs said it’s all about the challenge.
