Elementary students dance

The Underwood Elementary students gathered together with their funny feet – some in slippers, some with brightly colored knee socks and even some with painted feet. Grades K-6, with the help of music teacher Heidi Quinn, have been working on a dance for the past month in hopes of getting a clip of their video in a professional video mash up. “We are entering a contest sponsored by the Music Express Magazine, our curriculum,” Quinn said. “The editor who founded it put up this contest - he has the choreography online - and put out an invite to everyone who subscribes to the magazine to video the students doing the dance.” Schools participating will send in their dance videos and winners will be chosen. Clips from each winner’s videos will be selected and “mashed” together to form a professional music video.
