Donations put Underwood School on path to succeed

The Underwood School Foundation is continuing the mission of keeping the school well equipped, thanks to the thoughtful donations of school alumni. Foundation members Renee Fransen and Diane Schell visited the school Wednesday morning to present principal Lee Weisgarber and football coach Kevin Dockter with funds to buy new equipment. The school foundation was able to gather $8,000 to go toward purchases in technology in the school. Separate donations were designated for the football program, which totaled $500. Weisgarber explained that when funds are tallied up, he puts together a list of requests that would allow the school to meet certain needs. “The foundation is always looking forward,” Weisgarber said, “and looking at how things have changed.”
