Crosswalk plans nearly complete

The Underwood City Commission made quick work of its agenda Monday night, making progress on the crosswalk issue that has been on the agenda for the past few months.
Commissioners discussed signage for the crosswalk leading between Dollar General and Grimsley’s near U.S. Highway 83, approving the location of the crosswalk and the type of signs that will be used. According to Cabrera, the crosswalk will be 68 feet long going in a diagonal
direction from the sidewalk at Dollar General across to the east side of Grimsley’s, pretty
much in line with the customer door on the south side of the store.
