County ponders building purchase

Expansion of the McLean County shop in Washburn to the former Case-IH building is a distinct possibility.
The reason the location is lucrative is that it is in close proximity to the county shop.
On the surface, the idea holds merit.
"It would be kind of a good fit for us," Highway Superintendent Jim Grey told McLean County commissioners.
"It’s something we should think about strongly," added Commissioner Doug Krebsbach.
Commissioner Steve Lee said the county has been looking at some type of expansion.
