Construction continues on TL ambulance hall
As construction of Turtle Lake’s new ambulance hall continues, warmer than average temperatures in early February created momentum that may be offset by winter weather. Below-zero temperatures and high-wind predictions may stall construction on Turtle Lake’s ambulance hall, as the construction crew travels 100 miles from Rugby, N.D., each morning. The foundation walls of the new hall were poured in July. President of Turtle Lake Ambulance Dave Hanson says the building then sat for weeks as a plumber was arranged to install the underground heating system. He says the genera l contractor, Buildings Evergreen from Bismarck, didn’t secure plumbing in time to ensuret he project could move forward without haste.
