Community Garden - growing like gangbusters

The Brussels sprouts are bountiful and the squash is stupendous.
The peas – not so much.
That’s how novice gardener Holly Dammann’s garden is growing this summer.
Dammnn is one of several locals who took the opportunity to plant a garden in the Underwood Community Garden in downtown Underwood this spring.
She and the other gardeners are already busy harvesting their fresh veggies and herbs.
"It’s going good," said Dammann, who says she finally has the time to garden now that her children are grown, so she decided to check out gardening on a small scale to see if she likes it before venturing into a bigger garden spot.
