Christmas light winners announced

The Christmas lights were certainly abundant this season as many in Underwood took advantage of the fair weather. The Underwood Civic Club light judges were out scanning lawns, taking counts and listening to the Christmas music in search of the best yards of the year. The choice was a tough one as there were many to choose from. Judges finally came to the conclusion that while many are worthy, only three can win. The winners of this year’s Civic Club Lighting Extravaganza are: Bob and Sandy Krumwiede, 114 Sayler Street. The Krumwiede home is one that stands out among others for its symmetrical design, its modern lines and its overall covering of the home. The Krumwiedes line their drip edge with multi-colored lights, have giant bulbs along the walkway and even have some big bright flakes in the trees out in front.
