Chamber to host ice cream social

Turtle Days hadn’t even been held yet and the members of the Turtle Lake Chamber of Progress were already planning their next two new events, one scheduled for this Thursday.
Neither one is as large of an undertaking as Turtle Days, but they should be nice social events for people in the area.
The Chamber will be holding an ice cream social in conjunction with the summer musical entertainment at the Senior Center this Friday, with entertainment starting at 7 p.m. , offering up ice cream treats to folks who stop in for the entertainment, hopefully enticing more people to come listen to the performers.
Also added to the Chamber’s to-do list is an employer/employee picnic, tentatively set for Wednesday, Aug. 14.
