Central McLean Co-op board meets issues head on

The Central McLean Sports Cooperative met at 6:30 on November 20 at McClusky School with a supper served at 6 p.m. All members of the co-op were represented. Underwood had James LeRoy, Michael Heger and Brandt Dick as co-op representatives and Angela Riehl as fiscal agent representative.
At the start of the meeting, in the first vote taken, Heger moved there be only one vote per co-op member not total representation votes. Turtle Lake-Mercer representative Jeff Hanson seconded. The motion passed, 3-0.
A fall sports report showed that no cross-country was offered as no students signed up and there was no coach.
The Cougars football team did well, ending in a three-way tie, with some players on the All-Star team. Coach Kevin Dockter was named Coach on the Year. It is Dockter’s last year after 35 years of coaching.
