Businesses set to open Friday

Gov. Doug Burgum on Monday announced during his daily press conference that businesses previously closed or limited by his executive order due to the COVID-19 pandemic will be able to open this Friday following new criteria that his office announced Tuesday. That means restaurants and Businesses set to open Friday New guidelines apply
bars, as well as personal care service workers including hair stylists, manicurists, tat tooists and massage therapists will be able to go back to work Friday. Gyms are also expected to be able to open, also adhering to new guidelines. By Tuesday morning’s deadline, the criteria by which those businesses will be allowed to reopen had not been released by Burgum.
The public schools will not be allowed to open, continuing with distance learning, and restrictions will continue.
