Brooklyn Schaan spearheads new initiatives at Underwood and Wilton-Wing Schools as FSCS Site Coordinator
Underwood and Wilton-Wing schools are embracing a transformative year with the introduction of the Full Service Community Schools (FSCS) model, thanks to the efforts of their new Site Coordinator, Brooklyn Schaan.
When asked about the essence of being an FSCS for Underwood and Wilton-Wing, Schaan explained, “Basically, it means that the district has a designated person in the school to help find resources and build a pathway between the school, the community, and school families.”
She emphasized the importance of a “whole child approach and whole family approach,” noting that her role helps alleviate some of the burdens from the administration.
