Bringing the Old to the New

Fervent Fire Ministries hosted a special event at the First Assembly of God Church in Underwood over the weekend, including church services, live music, bouncy inflatable houses for the kids, giveaways, puppet shows, and of course, food. Fervent Fire Ministries, out of Elgin, travels across North Dakota and holds "old-fashioned tent revivals." The ministry puts on several tent revivals during the summer, with the goal of "Bringing the Old to the New," according to its website. The ministry was founded by Troy and Jennifer Fercho from Elgin. They aim to “ignite faith and bring a new message of hope and love, while renewing the explosiveness of oldtime revivals while fueling a desire for greater signs,
wonders and miracles,” according to the website.
