It took less than 15 minutes for the Turtle Lake-Mercer School Board to unanimously approve entering into a full co-op with Underwood and McClusky, ending months
of discussion between the three schools on whether or not to go all-in as the Central McLean Cougars. There was little discussion at the Jan. 29 special meeting in Turtle
Lake, as board member Jeff Hanson questioned whether McClusky had officially voted on its stance regarding the full co-op. Fellow board member Josh Ruffo indicated that
McClusky has indicated all along during the recent discussion that it was in favor of the full co-op, despite not having taken official board action.
