Blue Flint Ethanol secures grant for automation under North Dakota Development Fund Initiative
Blue Flint Ethanol in Underwood was among the 18 businesses awarded funding through the North Dakota Development Fund’s Automate ND program, designed to enhance automation efforts across the state.
The initiative, backed by $5 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, aims to address workforce shortages by encouraging companies to invest in automation equipment, boosting productivity and growth.
Blue Flint Ethanol received $28,500 to automate the milling, liquefaction, and fermentation stages of its ethanol production.
