Benning joins Underwood Clinic

If you’ve got the sniffles, a fever, some aches and pains or if you just feel like something’s not quite right with your health, the Underwood Clinic now has another health care provider to help you get and feel better.
Kerri Benning, FNP, graduated from the University of North Dakota with her Masters in Nursing last May, and joined the health care staff at the Underwood and Washburn clinics in October.
Benning worked as a pediatric nurse for about 10 years before she decided she wanted to go back to school to become a nurse practitioner.
"I loved nursing and I got to the point where I needed something more," she said. "I was looking for more of a challenge and I think I was looking for something different."
She found that something different in rural healthcare, seeing patients from infant to elderly.
