The Kountry Kids are ready to welcome shoppers, vendors, crafters and cooks to this year’s annual Holiday Craft and Bake Sale in Underwood this Saturday, opening the doors to shoppers at Underwood City Hall at 10 a.m.
The holiday sale will run through 3 p.m. and features a variety of home-based business offerings, home-baked goods, home-crafted gift items and a plethora of gift choices for family and friends – and a few things for the shoppers to get themselves, too.
For the 19th year now, the Kountry Kids have been organizing and helping set up the holiday craft and bake sale which brings in repeat vendors and shoppers back year after year.
The vendors, whether they have a home-based business or if they’re just selling specialty holiday goodies, like the atmosphere, noted Kountry Kids 4-H leader Alice Landenberger. Other than that, she doesn’t know what makes the Underwood event so popular.
“I really don’t know, but they started calling for tables in September already,” said Landenberger. “A lot of people who come like the Underwood fair because of the atmosphere, the mood of it, and they say they like the shoppers who come through.
